About ERPCommunity... |

ERPCommunity was
developed in May of 2004, by a group of ERP (enterprise resource
planning) developers. This group was tired of searching site after site,
forum after forum, looking for answers and experiences from the field.
So they teamed up, and decided to start their own website, to not only
collect their data and experiences, but also collect additional
information from others, that were willing to share it. The plan was for
this website to be an online community where all ERP developers would
want to come, and of course return frequently.
For the group's first attempt at
building this community-based website, they decided to launch the three
major ERP software manufacturers first:
Oracle,
PeopleSoft and
SAP.
In early 2004, they bought the perfect name (so they think), and called
their new online meeting ground... ERPCommunity.com.
In just a week after they publicly released their site to the internet,
they had their first few visits and even a few new members. In the
first 3 months, they had expanded to over 325+ members, which include
both technical and functional users. There are even some recruiters
actively posting job offerings worldwide.
In the future they hope to expand their
community offerings to other ERP solutions, so they encourage visitors
to sign up and return. Until then, they hope you enjoy their new world.
